1. Information the app handles

Snoreman uses your device's microphone to record audio while you sleep, only with your explicit consent, in order to analyse snoring patterns.

1.2 App settings

The following settings are stored locally on your device:

• Snoring detection threshold
• Language preference
• Theme preference

2. Storage and processing

Fully local processing

• Audio files are stored locally in your device's document directory.
• Analysis data — decibel readings and snoring analysis results — is stored locally on your device.
• App settings are stored locally on your device.

No network transmission

• We do not upload audio files to any cloud server.
• We do not send analysis data to any external server.
• The app does not require an internet connection to function.

3. Data sharing

We do not share your data with any third party. This includes, but is not limited to, recording files, analysis results and personal settings.

4. Your rights

4.1 Access

You can view every recording file and all analysis data stored on your device at any time.

4.2 Deletion

You can delete any recording or analysis data at any time. Once deleted, it is permanently removed from your device.

4.3 Control

• You can start or stop recording whenever you want.
• You can adjust the snoring detection threshold freely.
• Uninstalling the app deletes all related data.

5. Microphone permission

Snoreman requests microphone access in order to record audio while you sleep, measure sound levels in decibels, and detect snoring events. The microphone is only activated after you tap the record button, and you can stop recording at any time.

6. Use by minors

This app does not collect any personal information and is suitable for users of all ages. We recommend that minors use the app under the guidance of a parent or guardian.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated policy.
